ACCOUNT MANAGER / BOOKKEEPER (REMOTE)

About the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the books for a diverse range of clients across various industries, with our team always available to support you when needed. Some essential bookkeeping duties include:

  • Managing Accounts Payable using software systems like Bill, Ramp, and within QuickBooks Online.

  • Managing Accounts Receivables, including tracking and managing retainers and job-costing.

  • Overseeing inventory management with integrated software systems like Inflow and SOS Inventory.

  • Conducting sales and sales tax reconciliation using POS systems such as Shopify, Square, and Stripe.

  • Setting up and managing payroll through platforms like Gusto and QBO.

  • Performing Month-End Close in QuickBooks and Xero, including bank and financial statement reconciliations.

  • Providing customized financial reports and meeting with Clients for monthly review

  • Providing exceptional customer service through client management and advisory.

Requirements:

  • Strong accounting background with a comprehensive understanding of US GAAP

  • Proven expertise in QuickBooks Online with a minimum of two years of recent, hands-on experience within the past five years.

  • Proven expertise in Xero with a minimum of two years of recent, hands-on experience within the past five years.

  • Skilled in navigating and managing POS integrations (ex. Amazon, Paypal, Shopify, Square, and Stripe, Toast, etc.)

  • Experience in providing full charge accounting services (both accrual and cash basis) to multiple clients

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping

  • Capable of working independently and demonstrating resourcefulness, with a strong team-oriented mindset

  • Proficiently handles multiple priorities efficiently and effectively

  • Skilled at creating and documenting workflows, processes, and communications

  • Comfortable in meeting with clients in Zoom or Teams, with ability to present financial data and address financial questions or concerns directly with Client

  • Located in the United States with the capability to work from a professional home office


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Accounting Degree

  • CPA License

  • Experience working with the construction or manufacturing industries, specializing in job costing and inventory management

  • Experience working with E-commerce, healthcare, or restaurant industries and managing POS integration to QBO or Xero, including reconciling sales revenue and sales tax reports in POS system (ex. Stripe) to QBO or Xero financials
