Q: What do you do differently than other bookkeepers?

A: Our bookkeeping extends beyond the basics of entering bills and paying invoices. We utilize the information entered to provide financial reports and other tools necessary for business owners to better understand their financial position. We will also work closely with each client's accountant to be sure that data is being entered in accordance with regular procedures for the respective business.

Q: Do you use software other than QuickBooks?

A: We prefer to use QuickBooks because of its superior reporting functionality and effectiveness in maintaining data. We have used several bookkeping softwares and have found that QuickBooks is still the best option. If you are on a system other than QuickBooks, we will be happy to help with a transition.

Q: What if I just want you to do payroll?

A: We can do just payroll or just bookkeeping. We only offer on-site payroll, but
may offer a separate payroll service if customer demand is present.

Q: If I want to manage my own books but I'm not familiar with QuickBooks, do you offer setup and training?

A: Yes! We can assist you with the initial setup of your QuickBooks software and provide training if desired. We do have a minimum 2 hours per training session. Sometimes there are 'add-ins' that complement QuickBooks for specific industries, and we can help to determine what the best options are if any, install QuickBooks and the add-in software and provide initial training to get you up and running. We can also provide ongoing assistance as necessary.
